HEY, PAID PROTESTERS: WHY TRUMP WON

Ah, it’s so adorable watching the pre-paid ‘rent-a-mobs’ turning out in protest in US cities mainly under the silent mouths of Democrat politicians.  I’ve seen school walkouts in Los Angeles, marches in Chicago, and rallies in Indianapolis over the shocking victory of Donald J. Trump at the polls.  Protesters–in many cases–bought and paid for by George Soros and his sour grapes comrades, if you follow the mainstream press.

Well, I’ve got a question for the mobs on the streets:  Where were you when it came time to vote?  As the saying goes…if you didn’t vote, you have no right to complain.  Protest all you want; it won’t change the fact that Trump won enough states and electoral college votes to become President of the United States.

Don’t feel too bad.  One of your ilk–Colin Kaepernick–the football player who’s vitriol towards the National Anthem has caused the National Football League to lose more than 40 percent of its viewership this year–didn’t bother to go to the polls on election day either.  ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith–upon hearing of Kaepernick’s ignorance in NOT going to the polls to vote, set him on BROIL with a scathing editorial, labeling him a hypocrite.  Other published reports estimate that some 6 MILLION Democrat voters didn’t bother to show up at the polls for Hillary Clinton.  Reason number one why Donald J. Trump won the election:  More of his voters made their way to the polls.

Let me continue.  The ‘Reagan Democrats’–working class voters ignored by BOTH Republican and Democrat parties–were resurrected and showed up to the polls and VOTED for the candidate who connected with them.  Early analysis shows that nearly 10 percent of the Black vote, and six percent of the Hispanic vote went to Trump–as well as a sizeable portion of the vote from women, the rustbelt region, the college educated AND those who barely finished high school.  Reason number two that Trump won:  He connected with people and raised them up, instead of tearing them down.  He had a positive, simple message AND a platform that was easy to understand.  Clinton had accusations, race baiting, slurs, and nothing in the way of a policy to win voters.

Lastly, Trump won because he OUTWORKED the competition.  When Clinton was ‘off the campaign trail’ involved in health issues and debate prep, Trump was holding three, four, or five campaign events in battleground states.  States that were traditionally Democrat, but Trump managed to ‘flip’ them into the Republican column.  Sure, Trump complained that the system was rigged.  Trump made some colossal errors while on the trail.  However, when the smoke cleared and the votes were tallied, HE WON.  Registered voters from all walks of life PUT TRUMP IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

My protesting friends…how many of YOU have your voters registration cards?  How many of YOU made your way to the polls and voted BEFORE you protested?  I dare say…not too many.

This presidential cycle provided a major life lesson for snowflakes and coalflakes alike.  IF you want something better in your life, it starts with preparation, participation, and application–not agitation.  Y’all have a great time out there, in protest land.  Hope the money to pledge your allegiance to the mob was worth it…especially when those surveillance photos come back to the police, and to your future employers and lenders when you wake up and realize that you have been played for the suckers that you have become.  The Constitution protects free speech and public assembly.  It does NOT protect mob behavior, destruction of private property or assaulting police officers.

The time comes when the mob has to disband and get back to reality.  An adult can cope with the ups and downs of life; an adolescent has to have therapy dogs, refer, safety pins, riot money and crying jags when the roads of life get bumpy.  If you can’t handle ONE election result, can you handle unemployment?  Illness?  Failing a course?  A relationship breakup?  Please drain your swamp of emotional instability.

A closing thought.  Go back to–and examine–the protest marches of the sixties.  You can thank those brave Black men and women who marched, bled and died to secure the right for Black people to vote in this country.  Many of their descendants went to the polls on November 8th, 2016 to VOTE.  Where were you?
