MALCOLM JAMAL WARNER
Born & raised in Jersey City, NJ
The legacy continues with Malcolm Jamal Warner whose most notable role as Theo Huxtable on the acclaimed NBC-TV series, “The Cosby Show,” spawned a book entitled, “Theo and Me: Growing Up OK” and catapulted him to appear in films, direct television shows, record music videos, and even win a Grammy award for Best Traditional R&B for “Jesus Children” with Robert Glasper Experiment and Lalah Hathaway. Surrounding himself around music has been a great equalizer for the performer who took up bass guitar over twenty-five years ago and formed a jazz-funk band called Miles Long. Currently, the former child actor is starring as Dr. AK “The Raptor” in the FOX-TV series, “The Resident.”
