What makes Dante Tick?

Well, 2022 is ending for A Dante Production. We are hard at work for 2023, remember to save the date of March 25, 2023, as we celebrate our 5th year in Florida.    I must say the years have gone by faster than I imagined.  We have had our ups and downs, but we have had more ups than downs. We have added to our roster:

  • Groov
  • The Divas of Jazz
  • Dante’s Pride
  • Dante’s R&B Divas

Individual Musicians

  • Chris Clarke (RIP)
  • Jaquay Pearce- Violin
  • Jeanine McAdams- Piano
  • Bennie Yarbrough-Saxophonist

We are still adding however we are not ready to say who at this point. We have GOOD news; we now call the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center home. They are closed for a short period of time to remodel, below is the new look in the lobby and walkway to the lobby:

We are planning some surprises for the reopening, when was the last time you really got dressed up to see a concert?  What about a Date Night?

We are planning to grab some of the musicians from their tours to provide you with A Touch of Class entertainment with some frequency. The reopening of the Ormond Beach Performing Center will be the musical event of the year and you can enjoy music in the new seats. A walkway with new signature bricks will be another added attraction, you can buy a brick with your name on it.

As CEO I have been asked many questions about who I really am. The publisher (Mr. Gary Johnson) of that great online magazine Black Men in America.com makes some very interesting comments. The one that resonates in my mind is about helping others.  As I retired and moved to Florida, I found that I live in an area that could use some entertainment. Growing up around some musicians and singers in Philadelphia I was surrounded by music, so I decided to use my knowledge to help others in my area. What is music to me?  Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.

Therefore, I wanted to make others feel as good as I do when my mind needs uplifting. Music is a language that doesn’t speak words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.

The cast that makes A Dante Production “tick” is bigger than you think, and it stretches into many states.  The behind the scenes cast includes past and present such as Ms. Talina Massey N.C., Ms. Antoinette Bruno M.D., Mr. Leroy McClendon (Florida), Mr. James Womack (Florida), Mr. Emanuel Cowen (Florida), Mr. Gary Johnson (Florida), Ms. Donna Gray Banks (Florida), Ms. L.D. Robinson (Florida) and Baker Financial Services (Georgia), plus all the musicians.  These people are behind the scenes.  This  is what makes A Dante Production Tick!

For the past 4 years, we have cultivated a TEAM to make our DREAM work.

Remember March 25, 2023
