CAN’T BE A CHAMPION—WITHOUT CHRIST!
Contrary to popular opinion (often seen spewed out on social media writings and videos) marriage has not lost its luster. The formula is still one man for one woman, the way God intended. The man proposes marriage to a woman, and the woman either answers yes or no.
One of the things that I have noticed on the World Wide Waste of time is the video ‘helpers’ who leave God out of the equation when it comes to relationships. The ‘War Between The Sexes’ still rages, which is normal when things are examined without God’s rule book, the KJV Bible. As one who is a Christian, and have had my shares of ups and downs, more of my ups have come when I have read the “Basic Instruction Book for Life on Earth,” the Bible. Having accepted Jesus Christ later in life, I still see many of the same mistakes that are being made between men and women—even those who may be in the church (but the church is not in them).
Beware of advice that leaves God, the KJV Bible and good religion out of the discussion.
During my teaching days in the public schools, one of the things that quickly becomes clear is how many teens (grades 6-12) are not sure who they are, where they are going in life, and—this is the capper—how many of them are quick to refuse solid advice. I ran into the same issues with the same age range when I was a Probation Officer/High Risk with my county juvenile court. My clients–teens with rap sheets as long as my leg–were not sure who they were, where they were going in life and how many were quick to refuse solid advice—even IF that advice had been given to keep them alive.
Starting to notice a pattern here? Hint: this pattern could be ‘locked in’ as these teens become adults (that is, if they live that long). Without Christ in their lives, there is no protection from the world, the flesh and the devil playing people for suckers in any avenue of life—especially on marriage avenue. Further, their worldview is soooo stuck in the world system that they could not spot righteousness if it stood right in front of them—which is usually does.
Good religion is more than common sense. It is wisdom that helps one live their life more skillfully and avoid the ‘open manhole covers’ which swallow up too many people as they were relying on their rose colored glasses to get them through another day. Get good religion in your backpack, brothers. Jesus Christ was offered for all…but only the courageous man will take him at His word.
