New Platform Highlights the Faces, Voices, and Stories Behind America’s Black Farming Community
The Justice For Black Farmers Group YouTube Channel, a powerful new digital platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and stories of Black farmers across the United States. The channel will serve as the multimedia hub for the Justice For Black Farmers Group movement, shining a light on the decades-long struggle for equality, economic justice, and land ownership among Black agricultural producers.
The project is part of the group’s ongoing mission to create socially conscious storytelling that educates, inspires, and mobilizes.
At the heart of the new channel is a signature video series titled “A Name and A Face.” Each short episode introduces viewers to the real people behind the headlines — farmers who have endured discrimination, fought legal battles with the USDA, and continue to feed communities despite systemic obstacles.
“For too long, America has talked about Black farmers as statistics,” said Gary Johnson, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Gary Johnson Media, LLC. “We’re changing that narrative by putting names and faces to the movement — real men and women who embody strength, dignity, and resilience. This platform is about truth, visibility, and justice.”
The Justice For Black Farmers Group YouTube Channel will also feature:
- Interviews and round table discussions with advocates, attorneys, and agricultural leaders
- Policy and legal updates on USDA equity and land loss cases
- Educational segments on the history and future of Black farming
- Community spotlight features celebrating Black farmers’ achievements nationwide
