WHY WE SUPPORT THIS TRIBUTE

Quincy Jones isn’t just a music legend — he’s a blueprint and a cultural disruptor.  He elevated the music industry without ever shouting for attention. He may be gone, but his genius and influence lives in every facet of music that he produced and all that came after him.

At Gary Johnson Media and BlackMenInAmerica.com, we proudly partner with A Dante Production to honor Quincy’s legacy — because greatness deserves to be documented, celebrated, and passed down.

This dedicated space celebrates the life, legacy, and genius of Quincy Delight Jones Jr. — a musical architect, visionary producer, and cultural trailblazer whose work has shaped generations of artists across jazz, pop, soul, hip-hop, film, and beyond.

The show will be led musically by Grammy award-winning musician Jeanine McAdams, (Sounds of Blackness) featuring a host of professional musicians and talented local student performers. Produced by A Dante Production under the leadership of CEO Chauncey Dunham, the event is produced by author and radio personality Donna M. Gray-Banks and partially directed and narrated by Gary Johnson.

This is more than just a concert — it’s a world-class musical journey honoring one of the greatest creative minds of our time. The night will be filled with unforgettable performances, elegance, and a cultural experience we can all be proud to support.

At the heart of this tribute is a once-in-a-lifetime live concert event:
