TWO WORLDVIEWS—YOU GET TO CHOOSE PART 1
A few years before the pandemic, I was invited to teach on the spiritual dangers of Modern Street Gangs at my district Vacation Youth Conference. This annual gathering lasted a week and brought young people from many of the churches in our area for a summer get together to magnify the Lord and to learn more about the Christian religion.
It was an honor that turned into a disappointment, as the older youth whom I had been assigned not only did not see the need for strong spiritual teaching, but they also had little grasp of the basics of the Christian faith. We’re talking about young people from 15 to 18 years old who had been attending this Conference for five to ten years and were mere babes in the faith in terms of spiritual doctrine. Further, the Director of the Conference had held the job for a number of years and didn’t see the need for a perceived ‘outsider’ teaching ‘her children’ anything of which she didn’t have a direct hand.
The Director, by the end of the week, lost her position because of her attitude. The District Moderator received some negative reports on this long-serving Director, and she was cashiered out of leadership very quietly. Her story provided a vivid illustration as to what troubles church youth programs are having in these last days. It is rare—I repeat RARE—for the youth of many churches to be grounded in the basics of church doctrine in order to carry forth a Christian worldview to counteract the evils of our modern age.
It is even MORE rare for our modern Christian youth to know how to share their faith.
Ask the average church-attending teenager what they have learned in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, or a Youth Conference about Jesus, the KJV Bible, basic doctrines of their church or how to win souls to Christ, and you wind up with a lot of blank stares. Ask these SAME young people about the latest Christian video, current fashions, or teen speak going on amongst themselves and you would be hard pressed to get a word in edgewise. Toss in some social media chatter, and you have a firm grasp of how our churches have busy youth programs—but no discipleship teaching. Youth Pastors—but NO youth evangelism training.
We have Christian youth who lack the grounding to contend for their faith.
I would advise any concerned Christian parent to get a copy of the 2010 DVD Documentary Divided by The Leclerc Brothers. If you REALLY want to get a birds-eye view as to how church youth programs have done more to divide Christian families rather than build them up THIS 50 minute video will open your eyes. This video holds a firm place in my library. It still packs a powerful punch more than 15 years after it was released.
The reason I bring this matter to the table in this series is an illustration as to how ‘cut up’ the modern church has become. If our young people aren’t being taught the necessities of the Christian faith—and their parents are not teaching such basics at home—how far behind are our teens on the realities of Bible Prophecy, evangelism, or other ‘bedrock’ issues of our faith. It is any wonder that Modern Street Gangs have had a heyday IN our church recruiting church youth INTO the gang life?
It USED to be that there was a concern over losing our youth when they graduated high school and went off to college. Sadly, because of the unfolding of Bible Prophecy in these last days, churches NOW should be concerned as to whether or not their youth can make the transition from elementary to middle school and not be dragged away from home and church by the satanic worldview of our current society.
The Book of Jude urges Christians—with no age limit—to contend for the faith.
Let me plug this in at this point. There are two worldviews in existence on earth. Satan is the prince of the power of the air, and the ruler of earth. His worldview is very apparent (otherwise known as the spirit of the age). However, the worldview of Jesus Christ is also in play and overrules the satanic worldview. Individuals MUST decide which worldview to follow—the worldview with Satan at the center, or the worldview with Jesus at the center.
The individual has the freedom to only choose one and follow one.
The Satanic worldview buffets the Christian daily. Recently, the US Supreme Court ruled—at the conclusion of the 2024-2025 term–that parents had the right to opt their elementary school children out of programs that highlighted LGBTQ+ materials (Mahmoud v Taylor) Montgomery County Board of Education, in the Washington D. C. suburbs. At the center of the controversy, an elementary school had a few teachers who wanted to teach such a curriculum. Of course, many parents opted their kids out of the program. The parents were of a variety of beliefs and faiths—but were united in NOT wanting their children indoctrinated on the LGBTQ mafia. The school lost sooooo many children from the classes that the school mandated that no more children could leave the teaching, regardless of the religious views of the parents. In short, the children would be held ‘hostage’ to the whim of those teaching the materials—meaning that the rights of the parents over their children were being nullified by the school and school district.
The parents brought forth the case on religious grounds and parental authority. One may read the history of the case, as well as the opinions involved on scotusblog.com.
As I wrap up this first segment, please remember this: In general, a student spends five days a week at school (40 hours), and one day a week (maybe two) at church. This means that a young person spends more hours in school than at church. Further, private, charter and parochial schools are NO guarantee that the rights and religious faith of the home will be supported. Those who support the spirit of the age have been creeping into non-public schools AND public schools.
IF one wants to understand Bible Prophecy, they must be grounded in the right worldview.
More to come. Read below.
TWO WORLDVIEWS—WHICH WILL YOU PICK? PART 2
Let me shock many of my readers. The term ‘apologetics’ does not appear in the KJV Scriptures. I don’t understand why there are ministries with well-educated Christians who seem to think that those of us who are in Jesus Christ need to apologize for our faith. Further, these same ministries like to ‘soften’ our witness to other faiths and cultures to the point that THEY walk away from us feeling ‘vindicated’ while the Christian appears to be ‘emasculated.’
Would you like to know what the Bible says a believer is supposed to do concerning the faith he holds dear? We are to CONTEND for it, as it is spelled out in The Book of Jude, that small one chapter masterpiece which lay before The Book of Revelation. Further, we who believe in and placed our faith IN Jesus Christ are to earnestly contend for the faith…meaning that we are to view our faith as important, as vital, and—when challenged or sharing our faith—we are to make sure that we take seriously!
How’s that stir your coffee or tea, dear reader?
There are two worldviews at play in our world. Both have many names attached to define them, but they boil down to these two basic belief systems: There is the satanic worldview, which is fueled by the spirit of the age and is always changing, and there is the biblical worldview, which is fueled by Jesus Christ and the Word of God. I do not apologize for being a Christian, and will contend for the faith and MY faith. Those who are involved in the satanic, or spirit of the age worldview do not apologize for their worldview, and daily brag about their fleshly successes.
In Matthew, Chapter 4, I cannot find at any point where Satan apologized for tormenting Jesus in the wilderness. I also cannot find where Jesus apologized for citing three times the following phrase: “It is written.” So much for “apologetics.” The end result? It was Satan—not Jesus—who hurriedly left their encounter, and left Jesus alone to be ministered to by the angels assigned to Him.
So much for the value of ‘apologetics.’ More on this later.
Many in these last days KNOW that there is something ‘major league’ going on in our world. Those who hold to the satanic worldview held by those who are supporters of the spirit of the age are quick to offer excuses and ‘theories,’ figuring that mankind will produce the right answers if given enough money, time, and resources—that is, until life happens to them past their explanation/safety zone.
It will take contenders NOT apologizers to get the lost into The Ship of Zion before it sails.al worldview looks UP. To make it even more clear, the satanic worldview follows after sin and evil; the biblical worldview follows after righteousness and holiness.
My friend, you have the right to choose your worldview. Only ONE worldview can—with the Holy Spirit—accurately understand and interpret Bible Prophecy. However, each worldview comes with a cost. We’ll cover that soon. Meanwhile, let me get back to how Christians are to reach out to a lost and dying world(view) in these last days. I can best sum it up by the following:
- The Christian is to Contend for the faith. (Jude 1L3 KJV)
- The Christian is to Reason through the faith. (I Peter 3:15 KJV)
- The Christian is to Evangelize to share the faith. (Matt. 28:18-20 KJV)
- The Christian is to Testify to prove that they have the faith. (Rev. 12:11 KJV)
Remember this list when someone wants to bring up “apologetics.” Also remember the following list:
- The Apostles never apologized for walking in or demonstrating their faith.
- The First Century Christians did not apologize to Rome for their faith and died for it.
- The Reformers never apologized when appearing before various tribunals.
- The Puritans never apologized for turning against social evils and living holy.
- The Pilgrims did not apologize for building a new life in America to bring the Gospel.
This is the cost of holding a biblical worldview. You don’t back down, and you don’t back off from controversy. You could land in jail or on the chopping block; you could lose your wife, children, job, career, or church. Further, you could be dismissed, disregarded, and left alone. However, in the world to come, you will have the Rapture in your belt, and eternal life with Jesus Christ as your prize for sticking to your guns for the faith.
What is the cost of the satanic worldview? Satan will never tell you the full, eternal cost of following him to the same destination where unbelievers, the wicked, and the sinners will go—a Christless eternity in Hell and the Lake of Fire. The satanic worldview will also cost you family, friends, and finances.
TWO WORLDVIEWS—YOU GET TO CHOOSE PART 3
There are two worldviews constantly in play on earth among the various populations. One worldview represents Satan and his supporters, the forces of darkness. The other worldview represents Jesus Christ and his supporters, the forces of righteousness. The worldview you feed is the worldview you claim. If you believe in lying, cheating, murder, stealing, and sin, then you have the satanic worldview in your corner. If you believe in love, joy, peace, the Bible, holiness, and righteousness, then you have the Christian worldview in your corner.
Here’s the commercial in my mix-tape. There are only two eternal destinations: Heaven and Hell. As it has been said by many an old preacher: “It matters little whether or not you believe in Hell; it’s still HOT and sin ain’t right.” Further, Heaven is not a state of mind, it is a prepared place for a prepared people. IF you are NOT prepared to go, you ain’t going (I Cor. 6:9-11 KJV).
Let me clue you as to this fact. The further along the prophetic line we are, the more that the satanic worldview will hate the Christian worldview. Unless you have been under a tree for the last few years, we have witnessed a consistent, marked rise of hatred by our American society against those who have a firm belief in Jesus Christ. Here are but a few examples (Note: II Timothy, Chapter 3 AND Romans, Chapter 1 contains many of the items):
*TV and Cable Networks—including streaming services—have upped their game concerning a variety of anti-biblical sexual perversions, of which I don’t have to name.
*The ‘hip’ trend in politics is to get as far away from God as you can. This is why you are seeing a rise in anti-Semitic, socialist, Islamic, and communist-leaning candidates who look like they are from central casting but sound like they are from an Antifa rally.
*Churches are doing a wholesale march AWAY from biblical morality AND the KJV Bible.
*Schools are more interested in teaching sexual orientation rather than reading, writing and arithmetic. Colleges are doing more to support anti-Semitic rhetoric than turning out quality graduates who are able to take their places in society and the workforce.
*Ever since the pandemic, we have seen a rise in the number of weather-related catastrophes afflicting America. These natural events have a supernatural hand involved in their guidance. The just AND the unjust have been impacted to the tune of hundreds of lives, billions of dollars, and much destruction.
*Those in the entertainment and sports industries who have identified as siding with the Christian worldview have been overshadowed by many of their colleagues who delight in supporting debauchery and all manner of sin.
*Lastly, the rebellion against traditional marriage and family continues to grow.
IF you support the Christian worldview, and are under the blood-stained banner, you firmly understand that mankind is NOT going to get ‘better,’ and things against Christians in American society will continue to get worse as persecution becomes more blatant and widespread. This is the LAST bastion of unrestrained Christianity on the planet. The UK—which USED to have a strong support of the Christian worldview—has fallen miserably. It has been overrun with the satanic worldview, and is enshrined in a post-Christian belief system. Those who attempt to bring up the need for righteousness are either imprisoned, fined, or otherwise hunted down in the name of justice. This includes preachers!
Two key terms are associated with the satanic worldview. The first term? Agnostic. This is a person who is, mainly, a superstitious person who does not know—nor have—any real conviction towards God or the Bible. They are often very educated and open-minded (except to the God of the Bible). The Apostle Paul had a showdown with some of them in his Mars Hill discourse (Acts, Chapter 17 KJV). Another key term is Atheism. The person of this mindset does NOT believe that God is real, regardless of the evidence proving His existence. In short, this person is a fool (Psalm 14:1 KJV). Now, couple these terms with the satanic worldview and you can understand why the heathen (unbelievers) rage at the godly (Christians). Psalms two, KJV is a great study of this issue.
Here’s another shocker. America is NOT going to survive as a nation after the Rapture of the church—which can happen at any time. This is a part of Bible Prophecy that many don’t want to teach on. The ‘assumption’ is that since America—after 1948’s rise of Israel as a sovereign nation—has paid ‘lip service’ to Christianity in the midst of her sins, she will survive as a strong nation. Since we are talking from the Street Level, there is NO evidence that America will be a superpower after the Rapture of the church, nor during the Tribulation period. If God would not pardon Israel’s sins—both among the people and as a nation—America is not going to skate by. The sins attached to slavery, Abortion on Demand, and pleasure worship alone are enough to condemn America to the ash heap of history.
This is hard truth, but it is truth. Get right, or get left.
But wait, there’s more!
The HOPE for the individual is NOT looking out. The HOPE for the individual is NOT looking down. The HOPE for the individual is looking UP, and that into the face of Jesus Christ, calling upon the name of the Lord for salvation, strength and HOPE in these dark times AND the dark times to come (Romans 10:9-10 KJV). The HOPE for the church is not developing more social programs, better youth programs, or more banquets and church anniversaries to cater to the flesh. The church—and those of us in the church universal—need to get back to holiness, bible study, evangelism, and loving one another as Christ loved us. Remember: the Scriptures tell us that the world system will take us seriously WHEN we love one another IN the body of Christ.
There are those who think that I’m a nut. Well, I’m a nut fastened onto the right bolt, that being Jesus Christ.
There are only TWO worldviews. Choose the right one, and you will understand Bible Prophecy. Choose the wrong one, and you will be a victim of your own pride, stupidity, and foolishness. This is how it looks from the Street Level. I trust my writings have given you a clear picture of what is going on, and what IS to come.
