Question: What Makes Dante Tick?
Answer: Evolution, Vision, and Culture
Well folks, we are making major changes—as discussed earlier—and it’s time to walk you through what’s next.
Dante is going international.
We are preparing to launch events in the Dominican Republic (DR) and the British Virgin Islands (BVI). Leadership for these expansions will remain within the family: Chauncey Dunham II will oversee operations in the DR, while Kristen Smith will lead efforts in the BVI. As many of you know, these are two of my children—and I have full confidence in their ability to carry the Dante vision forward.
At the same time, I am restructuring my personal role.
I will be reducing my performance schedule to two shows per year. This intentional shift allows me to be more present in our expansion efforts, traveling between the Dominican Republic (DR) and the British Virgin Islands (BVI) to ensure that our international growth is not just symbolic—but actively led, shaped, and sustained.
This expansion is not just geographic—it’s strategic.
We are broadening the Dante experience to include:
- Wedding receptions
- Golf events
- Private and curated experiences
Simply put, we are re-imagining what we do—and how we deliver it.
On the digital front, we are elevating the platform.
The Dante website is being upgraded to feature the podcast The Thought Brothers, while expanding its overall reach and engagement to better serve a growing and diverse audience. The goal is to create a true digital home—one that reflects the full depth and appetite of the Dante experience.
Now, let’s talk about The Braintrust.
Dante continues to collaborate with Gary Johnson Media and Ila’s Diamonds (Donna Gray-Banks). Why? Because meaningful expansion is rarely achieved in isolation. It requires strong partnerships, shared vision, and trusted voices at the table.
The leaders of these organizations play a critical role in advising, interfacing, and supporting Dante’s continued growth.
And there’s more.
The musicians within the Dante collective are not just performers—they are creators. As part of our evolving ecosystem, we will begin showcasing original music on our platform. This initiative connects directly to our developing venture within the Braintrust known as The Quiet Storm—a space dedicated to creative expression, musical storytelling, and artistic ownership.

Bottom line:
Dante ticks because it evolves.
It grows because it collaborates.
And it succeeds because it stays rooted in culture—while expanding its reach.
