A Found Opportunity Resulting from the Crisis

Whenever dramatic changes or events occur, there is also the potential for a new opportunity.  This downturn requires us to rethink, retool, and adapt, which often results in the long-term in greater efficiency.

The COVID-19 has meant us to go back to the drawing board and develop a NEW Normal, in lieu of waiting to get back to normal as we once knew it.

One thing was really considered by the Dante Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) Chauncey Dunham, will there be a return on any Investment (I.E.ROI)?

This outbreak has made everyone in the world stop and think where do we go from here?

The challenges posed by the impact of COVID-19 is truly unprecedented. The entertainment world is being placed under immense pressure by the current crisis, but the ingenuity, resolve and flexibility that many in the industry are demonstrating are precisely the qualities that can help us weather this storm successfully.

The CVO of Dante really got creative and developed a concept to move to stream in a large way. He employed Ladero Design to assist in the development of streaming technology embedded within the current Dante Website. This tended to be more of an effort than anticipated.

Additionally, the CVO wanted to target geographical areas, which would involve Time Zones and could also involve Currency differences. Just think the world’s most-traded currency is the US dollar with about 47% share of global payments. The second place is the Euro, having about 33% of the daily transactions and a 28% share of the international bank payments. The Ladero Design team had to consider these factors to design the new technical platform.

This platform is a Pay 2 View (P2V) Virtual Concerts. Thought pattern for development was a very simple question, what does music do for you?
