Loretta Lynch, first African American to become Attorney General in U.S. Lynch made police reform a priority of the DOJ. It conducted investigations into the law-enforcement departments of various cities.  Lynch also focused on minority rights, including those of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
