Donnese Monique has a lifesaving story to tell and you need to listen to save your life or the life of someone you love. This very fit and healthy married mother of two, had a heart attack. She almost IGNORED the signs that she was having a heart attack, because she did not RECOGNIZE the signs of a heart attack. Had it not been for a colleague who is a Nurse Practitioner, who immediately directed her to call her husband to notify him that she was going to the Emergency Room, Donnese may not be alive to share her story.

Gary:  Donnese, you were in a meeting and didn’t feel well.  When the Nurse Practitioner told you that you needed immediate medical attention, what “calculations” did you have to make in your mind?

Donnese:  “My initial thought was Ugghh, I do NOT have time to be dealing with the long wait in the ER and then they tell me, ‘Mrs. Tyler you have gas.’  Then that thought shifted to, but this feels more intense this time and I’d rather be safe than sorry.” ????????
