You Must Watch Debbie Allen’s “Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker”

For the first time in my adult life, I made a point to watch holiday programming.  I’m not sure why, but on Christmas Day, I binged watched shows on Netflix.  The best show of the day, was “Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker” on Netflix. I haven’t been this inspired in a LONG time. This documentary shows how Debbie Allen and her Dance Academy connects the art of dance to your life skills and your work ethic.  The film also shows how important it is for young girls and boys to see someone successful who looks like them.  The stress of rehearsals, the pain of being cut, and Debbie Allen’s tough love along with the dreams of individual dancers made this “must watch TV” for me.  I can’t say enough about this film.  I’m a grown man with granddaughters.  Debbie Allen is an American treasurer.  I loved this film!
