“If Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’ had a male counterpart in 2025, it would be Kameron Corvet’s soul-stirring anthem ‘I Will.’”
– Gary Johnson, Publisher – Black Men In America.com.
Kameron Corvet is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter/guitarist. Kameron appears as Cornell Dupree in Nat Geo’s series “Genius: Aretha” starring Cynthia Erivo. Kameron’s breakout moment came from composing and co-writing Sting & Shaggy’s single “Don’t Make Me Wait.” This song would end up being the #1 Reggae song in 14 countries including the U.S. and secure a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album (44/876) in 2019. Most recently, Kameron co-wrote Toni Braxton’s “Fallin'” from her recent album Spell My Name, which was named 2020’s album of the year by the Associated Press. As a performer, Kameron has shared the stage with Adele, Chaka Khan, Erykah Badu, TyDolla$ign, Robert Glasper and more.
Kameron Corvet is more than a singer-songwriter. Kameron writes stories that people, particularly, men can identify with through his songs. When you watch this interview, you will see why Kameron is a “cultural connector” merging R&B, pop, soul, and Caribbean influences. Kameron also speaks his truth through his lyrics.
The hit single “I Will,” is a survivor’s anthem wrapped in vulnerability, strength, with timeless musicianship.
