Singer BETH Visits The Thought Brothers Podcast

During her interview with The Thought Brothers, singer BETH delivered a mini-MasterClass on how to overcome personal and career challenges and embrace the opportunities in your life.

BETH has toured nationally and internationally with R&B greats Anita Baker, The O’Jays, KEM and Najee. BETH also was the body double for R&B legend Whitney Houston in the film “Sparkle.”

On NBC’s “The Voice,” BETH was a finalist during Season 16 with Kelly Clarkson and John Legend as her coaches and was also a featured vocalist on ABC’s Dancing with The Stars (Season 22).   

In addition to her musical accomplishments, BETH is a member of SAG-AFTRA and boasts an impressive acting resume. She has appeared in four feature films, numerous stage plays, and commercials for both TV and radio.

Drawing inspiration from her father’s musical heritage, Johnny Griffith of the original Motown House band The Funk Brothers, BETH has performed in prestigious venues worldwide. Her vocal prowess has also been showcased on various television shows, including “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” “Glee Project,” and “American Bible Challenge.”

Moreover, BETH’s talent transcends genres, as evidenced by her collaboration with Rock-n-Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason on the song “How Do I Get to Heaven” for the album “26 Letters, 12 Notes.”

Throughout her career, BETH has shared stages with an array of esteemed artists, such as Dionne Warwick, Anita Baker, Martha Reeves, Melba Moore, Boyz II Men, and more. Notably, she was a featured lead and background vocalist during the historic “Tribute to Motown” show at Carnegie Hall, directed by renowned Music Director Ray Chew.

She’s opened for KEM, Peabo Bryson, Keith Washington, Chante’ Moore, Boney James, Lonnie Liston Smith, and Roy Ayers.  (Beth recently opened for Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight).

When she’s not on the road, BETH is also taking care of her mother who suffers from dementia. Today, she is speaking with Bill, Carlos, C.J. and Gary.  Watch this entertaining and informative conversation with BETH.
